Training Workshop CULTIVAR: Interdisciplinary Cultural Projects

The first task of Working Package 4 (WP4) of the Cultivar Project began today, February 2nd. The Training Workshop: Interdisciplinary Cultural Projects will last two days and will be held in two cities in Cabo Verde: Praia and Mindelo. In Praia, the activities are taking place at the Jean Piaget University of Cabo Verde.

This task builds on the results of previous activities, which included heritage mapping, the analysis of best practices, and the identification of territorial potential. The workshop also represents an important opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired by professors from Cabo Verde (CV) and São Tomé and Príncipe (STP) during training seminars held in Europe.

The workshop brings together postgraduate students and professors from the Jean Piaget University of Cabo Verde, ISCEE, and the University of Cabo Verde. Through hands-on activities, participants explored the multiple
dimensions of the Cabo Verdean territory, raising key questions and identifying opportunities for sustainable development in the areas of cultural heritage, tourism, and local food production.

WP4 aims to foster the creation of cultural projects through co-creation and interdisciplinary collaboration between academia and professionals.
