The ninth edition of the UNIMED WEEK IN BRUSSELS prepared the floor for the UNIMED network members and partners to take an active role in the shaping of the next programming period and for contributing to the Pact for the Mediterranean of the European Commission that will be adopted in autumn this year. More than 70 people from 14 countries attended the event held last February 18-20, 2025 contributing to enrich the discussions and the presentations.
The UNIMED WEEK last session was dedicated to Africa – Europe partnerships and collaborations and the CULTIVAR project was introduced to the audience as a case of the new collaborations for UNIMED with Sub-Saharan African Universities. The project CULTIVAR – beside the geographical dimension – represents for UNIMED the continous commitment in one of its Priority areas which is Sustainable Development.
