The ISCEE has maintained a dynamic approach to Cape Verde’s socio-economic development, endeavouring to respond in a timely manner to the demands of the business world. ISCEE has sought to maintain strategic partnerships, through protocols and agreements, with national and foreign institutions. The various protocols signed with national institutions cover the following areas: Training; Research and Information; Communication; Banking Products and Services; Scientific and technical research, based on consultancy projects, funding of scholarship students’ fees; Incentives for academic research and prizes for the best students. The University provides graduate training in Tourism Management and Planning and, in 2022, established a Tourism Observatory. In collaboration with institutions across all islands of Cape Verde, the Tourism Observatory serves as a research and market intelligence platform. Its primary goal is to analyze tourism behavior in Cape Verde and disseminate data to both public and private sector stakeholders.
